An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Midwife with a passion for women's health and a commitment to providing exceptional care to join a forward-thinking and highly reputable Maternity Team at a private hospital in Sydney. It is a full-time role, working on a rotating roster with flexible working arrangements.
ABOUT THE ROLE The registered midwife will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with key stakeholders:
In this position, you will be:

Providing comprehensive midwifery care during antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods;
Supporting and educating new mothers about breastfeeding, newborn care, and postnatal recovery;
Collaborating with obstetricians, paediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver multidisciplinary care;
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

Current registration with AHPRA;
Minimum two years' relevant post registration qualifications/experience;
Demonstrated experience working in the postnatal midwifery setting;
Demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement individualised patient-centred care;
Demonstrated professional manner when involved in emergency situations;
Demonstrated experience in antenatal midwifery setting (desirable);
IBCLC (Lactation) certificate, working toward or desire to complete (desirable).

REMUNERATION
$42.02 - $54.21 per hour.
